2. Server log files

When you visit this website, the server automatically collects data such as IP address, date and time of the request, the page accessed, and browser/operating system information. This data is used to ensure reliable operation and IT security, processed under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

3. Registration and user account

During registration we collect your name, email address, and a password (stored as a hash, never in plain text). This data is processed to provide the user account under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).

4. Uploaded files

Files uploaded by users are stored so they can be accessed via a share link. For every download of a file, we log the IP address, timestamp, and browser identifier to detect abuse and provide usage statistics (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Uploaded files are deleted once the user removes them via their account, or at the latest [add retention period, e.g. after X months of inactivity].

5. Cookies

We use only a technically necessary session cookie (PHPSESSID) to identify logged-in users during their visit. No tracking or marketing cookies are used.

6. Hosting and data processing

This website and the file storage are operated at Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner. [please confirm a DPA with Hetzner has been signed]

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Please contact the address given in the Legal Notice.

8. Right to complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding the processing of your personal data.

9. Changes
